How It Works

1️ Registration

Follow the Sign Up link and complete the short form.
You’ll need to:

Fill in your basic information
Select your Category of Service (e.g. Hairdresser, Nail Technician, Therapist, etc)
Choose your preferred area/location of work
Upload the required documents for FICA and background checks

2️ Approval

Once approved, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to your personal Dashboard, where you can:

Manage your bookings and work days/times calendar
View client reviews and messages
Update your services, descriptions, and pricing
Select your package (Commission or Subscription)
Register with Payfast to receive your payments

You will also be asked to:

Upload an ID-size photo of yourself
Add a service description and price
(Optional) Upload photos of your best work
Communicate with WOW Admin for any assistance

Fees & Commission

You’ll start with a basic package offering 1 service in 1 area.
You can choose to work mobile (at. the client’s location) or from your business location.
You will appear in searches for the area you select.
A 20% commission is charged on completed work to cover administrative and platform costs.
Monthly subscriptions will be collected via a debit order which will be managed by Payfast.

Payments

For your safety and security:

All payments are processed through Payfast when a booking is confirmed.
Clients must cancel at least 12 hours before their booking for a full refund.
Late cancellations (less than 12 hours) incur a 10% cancellation fee:
Disputes or refund issues will be handled first between the Solopreneur and client. If unresolved, WOW will mediate and make the final decision as per our Terms & Conditions.

To Start Your Business, You’ll Need

The equipment and products required for your service
Transport to and from client locations (if mobile)

You may include a note such as “Added cost for mobile services” in your price description
